The questions everyone asks first
It depends heavily on country, course and city. Your total budget needs to cover tuition, living costs, the visa fee, health surcharge or insurance, and flights. In your free consultation we build a realistic figure for your specific case — including what you must show as proof of funds — so there are no surprises later.
Often not. Many universities accept WAEC or NECO English Language at credit level from Nigerian applicants and waive the test entirely — the grade required varies by institution, commonly C6 or better and sometimes C5 or above. If your grade falls short or the result cannot be verified, a Medium of Instruction letter from your Nigerian university may be accepted instead, mainly at postgraduate level. Some courses still require IELTS, PTE or an approved equivalent, and the university requirement can differ from the visa requirement. We confirm the exact position for your course before you spend money on a test. Read the full guide →
Proof of funds is evidence that you can pay your tuition and living costs. Each country sets its own amount, how long the money must be held, and whose account it may sit in. Getting this wrong is one of the most common reasons for refusal, so we review your financial evidence carefully before anything is submitted.
Most student visas allow limited part-time work during term and fuller hours during holidays, with conditions that vary by country and by visa type. We'll explain the current rules for your destination — but you should never plan your budget on the assumption that part-time work will cover your tuition.
Plan for three to six months from first consultation to travel, depending on the intake, how quickly your documents come together, and current visa processing times. Starting early is the single biggest advantage you can give yourself.
Consultation is completely free. Beyond that, our service charge varies by destination and visa type, and is quoted clearly and in writing before any work begins. You will never be charged without agreeing the fee first.
Yes — and you should tell us about it at the first conversation. A previous refusal must be disclosed and addressed properly. We review the refusal notice, identify what went wrong, and rebuild the application around that. Hiding a refusal is far more damaging than declaring one.
Dependant rules have tightened in several countries and now depend on your course level and type. We'll tell you honestly whether your chosen course permits dependants before you apply — not after.
We hold the British Council Agent Certification and are registered with the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission under RC 3846468. You're welcome to verify both. We also put our fees in writing and never promise a visa outcome — no honest agent can.
No, and you should walk away from anyone who does. Visa decisions rest solely with the immigration authorities. What we guarantee is a properly prepared, evidence-backed application and honest advice about your chances before you spend money.
Your free consultation costs you nothing but 20 minutes.
Tell us your grades, your budget and where you'd like to go. We'll tell you honestly what's achievable — and exactly what it will take.
